We make a plan. We have a desired outcome.
Then, the unexpected happens (of course it does). The inconsistencies between our expectations and reality lead us to distress, to blame, to regret.
Do they have to?
The unexpected always happens...
But we can choose our reaction.
What matters is that we've clarified what is important to us; we've calibrated the compass, and even if we've arrived a few hundred miles south of our original destination, we can make it work for the better.
